The Neighborhood Revitalization Project
Where a person lives impacts their ability to access employment, education, environmental health, and other opportunities.
The purpose of the Neighborhood Revitalization Project is to remove obstacles to safe, healthy, and habitable neighborhoods through outreach, education, collaboration, and litigation.
The Project’s goal is to create safe and healthy rental housing as well as home ownership opportunities for residents. In order to accomplish this goal, the Project is working to educate residents about renters’ rights and responsibilities and the role that local government agencies play in preventing and getting rid of conditions of disease and uninhabitable homes.
