2-1-1 Kern County

2-1-1 Kern County, a program of Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK), provides comprehensive information and referral services that link Kern County residents to community health and human services and support.

Callers seeking assistance dial 2-1-1 and are connected with Information and Referral Specialists who utilize a resource directory to research and provide the information requested.

CAPK has been designated by the California Public Utilities Commission as the
2-1-1 provider for Kern County. Services are available 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week to the 750,000 residents in the county.

Health Consumer Alliance

The Health Consumer Alliance (HCA) offers free assistance over-the-phone or in-person to help people who are struggling to get or maintain health coverage and resolve problems with their health plans.

It is important to get the healthcare and benefits that your family needs. Bakersfield Kern Regional Homeless Collaborative is an Independent 501(C)3 nonprofit organization that works to reduce the impacts of homelessness in Kern County.

We believe that through collaborative action and planning we can reduce the impacts of homelessness, expand access to permanent affordable housing and supportive services, and work towards a future where every person in Kern County has a permanent place to call home.
