Medical Coverage
GBLA maintains a group medical insurance plan for all full-time employees. Kaiser Permanente provides medical insurance.

  • The plan is offered at no cost to the employee.
  • Dependent  coverage optional through a SEC 125 plan paid by employee.
  • Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.

Vision Insurance
GBLA maintains a group vision insurance plan for all full-time employees. Vision Service Plan provides vision insurance.

  • The plan is offered at no cost to the employee, spouse/domestic partner and dependents.
  • Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.

Dental Insurance
GBLA maintains a group dental insurance plan for all full-time employees. Delta Dental provides dental insurance

  • The plan is offered at no cost to the employee, spouse/domestic partner and dependents.
  • Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.

Life Insurance
GBLA maintains a life insurance plan for all full-time employees, spouse and dependents.

  • The plan is offered at no cost to the employee
  • Employee Coverage – 3xs annual salary
  • Spouse – $10,000
  • Dependents – $5,000
  • Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.

Long & Short Term Disability
GBLA maintains a Long and Short Term Disability plan for all full-time employees.

  • Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.

Retirement 403b
All employees can participate in a 403(b)- retirement plan, employee only contributions

  • No waiting period.

Holidays

  • 12 – 13 paid holidays, depending on the days they fall on

Sick Leave
Accruals

  • No waiting period: accruals begin on the first day
  • Employees accrue 3.46 hours per pay period

Vacation Leave
Accrual

  • No waiting period: accruals begin on the first day
  • 0 to 2 years: 2 weeks / 10 days / 6.25 hours per month
  • 2+ to 4 years: 3 weeks / 15 days / 9.375 hours per month
  • 4+ to 8 years: 4 weeks / 20 days / 12.5 hours per month
  • 8+ years: 4.5 weeks / 22 days / 13.75 hours per month
